Early this morning, the National City Firefighters were awoken when a vehicle crashed just outside of Station 34. A vehicle lost control and struck a gas pipe causing a natural gas fire. With quick response from crews, they were able to keep the fire from spreading. Thank you to our brothers and sisters in blue who arrived on the scene and were able to pull the driver out of the car.
Fortunately, no one was injured and there was no significant property damage. Great work by all personnel on the scene.
